HVAC and Plumbing Tips for Spring:
Check Your AC – Dirty coils reduce your air conditioner’s efficiency. This means that your system is going to work harder to cool your home. You should also check your refrigerant levels to make sure that your system is working correctly.
Check the Thermostat – Check your thermostat settings to make sure that your heating and cooling system will keep you comfortable when you are home and will save you energy when you are away.
Check for Leaks – Take the time to correct any dripping faucets and leaky pipes. Not only are these plumbing issues costing you money and wasting money, but they can also cause water damage and make your home more prone to mildew and mold. Checking for leaks is a good way to keep your home free of spring allergens!
Clean Faucet Handles – Clean all of your faucet handles and clean their insides to keep the screws from rusting. If you do notice any rusting, try using a rust remover.
